Puthiya Payanangal – Volume 1 is designed as a progressive, hands-on learning journey that introduces students to STEAM concepts through three structured levels. Level 1 – Exploring Basic STEAM Concepts Level 1 introduces students to fundamental Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics concepts through simple and engaging practical activities. Students explore concepts such as the Fibonacci Sequence, Pythagoras Cup, and other basic science and engineering experiments that encourage curiosity, observation, problem-solving, and learning by doing. Level 2 – Understanding Climate Change Level 2 focuses on environmental awareness and introduces students to climate change, greenhouse gases, the greenhouse effect, global warming, and their impact on the environment and society. Through interactive activities and discussions, students develop a basic understanding of environmental challenges and are encouraged to think about sustainable solutions. Level 3 – Introduction to Arduino and Microcontrollers Level 3 introduces students to Arduino microcontrollers, basic electronics, sensors, and simple programming concepts. Students learn how a microcontroller works and complete basic hands-on activities using Arduino, helping them understand how hardware and software can work together to create simple technological solutions. Together, the three levels of Puthiya Payanangal – Volume 1 take students from exploring basic STEAM ideas, to understanding real-world environmental challenges, and finally to building foundational skills in electronics, programming, and physical computing.
